OUT OF PLACE, BURIED NOT FAR UNDERNEATH |

Yesterday I called my sister. She is on vacation with her family and I needed her long distance wisdom. There was no crisis (crisis use to be the norm), I just needed her opinion. My sister said something amazing, something that shot straight in to the core of me and filled me up with goodness. After I finished talking Angie said, “what does your gut tell you? do what your gut tells you.” Not only is this empowering, being that I often forget that I have instincts, but it is also amazing for another reason. I am learning how to live without so much guilt and shame and to be told by someone a hold so dear that I can be trusted and I have the right choice inside of me, that is amazing.
To be trusted and loved by Angie is a gift I am incredibly grateful for and to learn to live in the world with people rather then in isolation and fear is scary and incredible at the same time.
